The Rosemary District is one of Sarasota's founding neighborhoods and also one of its most diverse. Located just north of Fruitville Rd. and just east of U.S. 41, the Rosemary District today is a fast-rising collection of eclective business, ranging from fine goods, to eateries, to gift shops, to wellness and beauty centers and spas.

Rosemary is also pround to be nationally-recognized as home to historic Overtown, Sarasota's first documented black community. Diversity, in fact, has been a historic trademark of the Rosemary District. We are proud to continue this tradition of diversity and community through the efforts of the neighborhood association, including this website.
